Hi, I'm Chloe. I am 6-years-old and have lived with my previous family since kittenhood. My "parents" thought I was standoffish because I spent most of my time in their son's room. But hey, we were besties, so we were always together until the family got a kitten. No kittens for me, please! I was insecure about being replaced with a younger, fluffier feline. My jealousy caused me a good deal of stress. Luckily, I spent a long time in my foster home, where I learned to relax. My foster family gradually introduced me to my new surroundings and provided me with a private space to decompress while I got to know them. My foster mom let me approach her on my terms, making me much more comfortable. I spent time on her lap, head rubbing, chirping, and politely requesting attention. She enjoyed watching me blossom and loved my sweet sassiness. I can be shy, but I'm an affectionate girl once I trust you. I prefer to be the only cat in my household, but I will eventually tolerate another cat's existence if you insist. I'll be the ideal companion for someone who is low-key, patient, doesn't expect a 24/7 lap cat and can accept my need for space. 4-17-23

Dog Adoption Fees:
- Under 1 year: $200
- 1-4 years: $100
- 5-9 years: $55
- 10+ years: $35
*The non-refundable hold fee is $40.

Not Quite Ready To Adopt?
You can make an immeasurable impact by opening your home and your heart to an animal in need. Fostering is a great opportunity to introduce a pet into your home without making a lifelong commitment. Many of our foster humans end up adopting their fostered animals, but many also choose to just provide the temporary shelter and love our animals need to get through a trying time.
