Scout Programs

Pledge to Make a Difference

Join us at our new, state-of-the-art facility for your next Boy or Girl Scout program. The Humane Society for Hamilton County offers a variety of hands-on ways to engage scouts of all ages while planting the seeds of kindness, responsibility, and philanthropy in children through their love of animals. Programs range in length from 30-60 minutes and include a humane education lesson, live animal interaction, behind-the-scenes tour, and age-appropriate activity.

Shelter Tours

Partake in an interactive tour of our new state-of-the-art animal welfare center to learn about our history and the animals we care for. Meet an animal ambassador following your tour.

  • Fee: $50 for up to 10 scouts, $5 each additional child
  • Time: 30 minutes
  • Scout Levels: All levels

Badge Workshops

If your scouts love animals and want an exclusive patch for their sash or vest, this program is for you! Workshops include activities and lessons specific to scouting level/grade, a tour of our shelter, and a Humane Society for Hamilton County patch. Activites vary by age.

  • Fee: $15 per scout; 10 scout minimum
  • Time: 1 hour
  • Scout Levels: All levels
